Thank you for booking your salon reservation with me. I want to prepare you for your first visit so it can run as smoothly as possible. Here’s some additional information to help make your first visit as seamless and comfortable as possible.
Pre-Visit
You’ll receive an email and/or text message reminder 48 hours before your visit to my studio. You’ll need to confirm it so that I will know you’re still coming and can prepare for your arrival.
If you are receiving hair services, please complete the following two forms before your arrival. We’ll go over them before we start. If you are receiving makeup services or taking a class, please complete the Photo & Video form only.
I do require 48 hours notice should you need to cancel or reschedule your visit with me. Should you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice - a cancellation fee equal to $25 per service will be charged immediately. (i.e. Relaxer | Haircut = $50 or Color | Highlight | Silk Press = $75).
No-Show or same-day cancellation/rescheduled reservations will be charged 100% of your scheduled service(s). No exceptions. Guests who No-Show will not be able to reschedule their reservation. Text message, DM, or email cancellations/reschedule requests are unacceptable.
Your First Visit
Please make sure your hair is “shampoo-ready” upon arrival. This means your hair should be free from tangles and knots. If you are receiving a color service, please arrive with clean dry-detangled hair. If your hair is not detangled and I have time to do it, there will be a $25 detangling fee applied to your service. If I do not have time, your reservation will be cancelled.
To better serve you, please arrive on time for your reservation. If you are late, and I am still able to service you, a $15 late fee will be applied to your service total. If I am not able to service you, your reservation will be cancelled and you will be charged a cancellation fee per booked service.
My studio is conveniently located in the Upper Kirby area off of Richmond Ave. The physical address is 3100 Richmond Ave, Houston, Texas 77098. I am located in the Spirit of Texas Bank building on the third floor in suite 303. As soon as you get off the elevator, you'll see my studio right in front of you.
Parking is available in the front or back of the building. My suggestion would be to park in the back because the parking lot is bigger with more spots to choose from. The doors are locked on Sundays so I'll come down and greet you when you arrive.
Makeup
Please arrive with a clean and moisturized face. This means your skin must be free from residual makeup, brows groomed, and facial hair removed.
COVID Clearance
In an effort to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and to protect myself and my guests, cleaning measures have been heightened and new policies are in place.
WILL THERE BE ANY OTHER GUESTS IN THE SALON WITH YOU?
Sometimes, in some instances there may be one other guest in the salon at the same time because they may be under the dryer or having their hair dyed and letting the color process but there will be plenty of space between you.
WHAT IS YOUR SANITIZING PROCEDURE?
All surfaces, tools, door handles, light switches, seating, and even the floors are thoroughly sanitized using hospital grade Barbicide and/or Lysol disinfectants. All towels, capes, and robes are washed in hot water with bleach and Lysol Laundry Sanitizer.
DO I HAVE TO WEAR A MASK?
Masks are optional so please reschedule your reservation if you are feeling sick or ill.
DO YOU HAVE CONTACTLESS PAYMENT OPTIONS?
I sure do! I have a COVID-Clean Check Out - meaning you have the option to check out for your services on your cell phone. You can also pay via Zelle, PayPal or ApplePay through your mobile device.
