Hair & Makeup at Ashton gardens west | Grace + Chase
How we met
Grace and I met through her photographer and a frendor (vendor friend) of mine, Christine of Swish & Click Photography. Now, I have done hair & makeup at Ashton Gardens West before and have another bride scheduled there this year. It’s a beautiful venue.
We hit it off almost immediately when she came in for her trial over a year before her wedding date. Imagine my surprise when I found out that she works for my favorite coffee company, Starbucks!!!
It was like the stars aligned and the Starbucks gods were shinning down on me when they sent her to me.
Not only is Grace an #NGBBride but she’s also a regular guest at my salon so I still get to see her.
Wedding Day
Grace had an evening wedding (which I love). We started hair and makeup mid-late morning and ended early afternoon. Imagine her face when I walked in with my Dunkin’ Donuts hazelnut coffee and munchkin’s…lol. Hey, I wanted to go by Starbucks but the lines are terribly long these days and I didn’t want to be late. She, of course said that I could have called her to place my order but I didn’t want to do that to her on her wedding day.
For Grace’s hair we did a half up-half down look with spiraled curls.
For Grace’s makeup we did a soft neutral look with a rose-pink lip and topped the look off with lashes.
Bridesmaids hair and makeup was done according to their wishes. They each chose to have a natural makeup look and complimenting hairstyles.
